Start a trial:

2. Click Start Trial on Professional or Business
3. Explore features for 14 days
4. Add payment method before trial ends

Upgrading Your Plan

How to Upgrade

1. Navigate to Settings → Billing
2. Click Upgrade Plan
3. Select new plan
4. Enter payment information (if first paid plan)
5. Click Subscribe

Upgrades are immediate:

• New features available instantly
• Prorated charge for remainder of month
• New limits apply immediately

Downgrading Your Plan

1. Navigate to Settings → Billing
2. Click Change Plan
3. Select lower plan
4. Review what you'll lose
5. Click Downgrade

Downgrades take effect at the end of current billing period:

• Keep current features until period ends
• Receive credit for unused time
• Must reduce usage to fit new limits before downgrade

Grace Period for Limit Violations

If you exceed your plan limits after downgrading, Contextium provides a 14-day grace period:

During Grace Period:

• Full access to all features
• Warning notifications with countdown
• Time to upgrade or reduce usage

After Grace Period:

• CLI/API access blocked
• Files become read-only (view only, cannot edit)
• Excess team members automatically suspended
• Full access restores immediately upon upgrade or compliance

Academic & Nonprofit Discounts

Eligible organizations receive 50% off Professional and Business plans:

• Educational institutions
• Registered nonprofits
• Open source projects

Apply for discount:

1. Navigate to Settings → Billing
2. Click Apply for Discount
3. Provide proof of eligibility
4. Wait for approval (usually 1-2 business days)

Refund Policy

Contextium offers a 30-day money-back guarantee:

• Full refund if you cancel within 30 days of first payment
