Learn how to create and configure your Contextium account.

Creating Your Account

Email and Password

1. Visit contextium.io/signup
2. Enter your email address
3. Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
4. Click Create Account
5. Check your email for a verification link
6. Click the verification link to activate your account

Social Login

Sign up quickly using your existing accounts:

• Google - Use your Google account
• GitHub - Authenticate with GitHub

Click the provider you want to use on the signup page and authorize Contextium to access your basic profile information.

What information is accessed:

• Display name
• Email address
• Profile picture (optional)

No other data from your Google or GitHub account is accessed or stored.

Email Verification

All new accounts must verify their email address. If you didn't receive the verification email:

1. Check your spam/junk folder
2. Click Resend Verification Email on the login page
3. Wait a few minutes for the new email to arrive

Unverified accounts have limited functionality until verification is complete.

Setting Up Your Profile

After creating your account:

1. Navigate to Settings → Profile
2. Update your display name
3. Add profile information (optional)

Choosing a Plan

New accounts start on the Starter plan (free). You can upgrade anytime:

1. Navigate to Settings → Billing
2. Click Upgrade Plan
3. Select your desired plan:
   • Professional - $15/month for small teams
   • Business - $25/month for growing teams
   • Enterprise - Custom pricing for large organizations
4. Enter payment information
5. Click Subscribe

Security Recommendations

• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
• Use a strong, unique password
• Review your connected accounts regularly
• Keep your email address up to date
